I am turning 18 in 3 months and I have been wanting tattoos my whole life (I already have a lot of piercings). My biggest passion in life is g*y rights activism, I am president of my g*y straight alliance club at school, regularly participate in protests, and I am bisexual (I'm had a few girlfriends but I've been with a guy for 2 years). On my 18th birthday, I plan on getting a heart with a rainbow in it in between my shoulder blades with swirls of designs in black around it with lots of shading and maybe some stars. I currently live in northern California but I plan on moving down to L.A. to go to beauty college in a year. Anyways, do you think that it would be "dangerous" to live in L.A. with a g*y pride tattoo? I wear tank tops a lot. But not all people associate rainbows with homosexuality. I really don't want to get harassed, I don't give a c**p what people think about it but that doesn't really matter when someone is threating you. I'm going to live around Sherman Oaks which is a really nice place but I'll obviously be in the more dangerous parts sometimes.
