Rainbow shark and siamese flying fox?

hi i have a rainbow shark and i really really want a siamese flying fox willl they fight? and is a siamese flying fox and algae eater if not please could you suggest an algae eater preferbly NOT a pleco as they are probably the laziest fish in the world! cheers

The two probably will fight, mostly because they'll be looking to establish their territories in similar areas of the tank, but also because of their similar shapes.  A better choice would be a group of Cherry Barbs if you're dealing with hair algae, or a Bristlenose Pleco if you're dealing with diatoms-- unlike other Plecos, Bristlenose stay small (about 4") and work VERY hard for their entire lives.  Flying Foxes will eat some algae, but will grow out of it.
