RainbowRoom in NYC?

I want to see the views being talked about in Rainbowroom in rockefeller but I cant afford the food :p 200 for 1 person? yaiks. If I visit sat nite, Can I get away with a drink only?

Sure you can do drinks only at the bar....the food isn't that great there anyways :)

Depends what you get...beer is around 6-8 depending on the brand, mixed drinks can be as high as 18.

Just have a drink at the bar.  I have had dinner there, and the food is grossly overpriced.  For 200 a person, you should go to Per Se instead, which has a fantastic view of central park.  

But back to RR.  Drinks at bar.  Sunday brunch is cheaper too.

Remember, Jacket and tie required.

just remember it will be very crowded. i suspect later in eve would be best for view and crowds.  

$20 to the maitre d' can sometimes help!
