I have heard that this is an excellent place for families, but I am concerned my son may get a little scared by the animals, he is only 2. Everyone I have spoke to has older children, so I would appreciate any comments from those who have gone with a little one, thanks.

  1. this is a very fun place but the animal are loud and there are "thunder storms" where the lights flicker and becomes dark for some moments the animal also move and the animals are very realistic

its your choice but if you dont go you should definitely take him when he gets older

  2. when i was younger i was very scared around those animals. it depends on the toddler

  3. My son is three years old and I took him. He really enjoyed it. He was very fascinated wiht the animals.

  4. I would wait until he was a little older. There are snakes, gorillas and other animals that make pretty intense noises. I'd wait till he was older.

  5. For a two year old, pretty much the highlight of any meals is the eating (if it is something they like) other than that, staring at walls is pretty boring especially if you are constantly being told to settle down.  At least at the Rainforest Cafe, there are things to look at and it can be pretty interactive for kids.   My daughter loved it when she was young and your son will love it too.

  6. there will be so much noise going on during dinner, that your 2 year-old might not even notice the props. I would go for it.. You'll love it!! :)

  7. It really depends on the child went there once when my sister was about three. It was plain torture for her. Loud sounds hurt her ears, and she was afraid of thunder. I would not suggest the kid, we didnt even get to order.

  8. i am only 13 but i see little kids a lot there. it is quite noisy and loaded but over all the kids i see seem to be thrilled by the atmosphere.

  9. i think he will be delighted and love it!

  10. I've been with my 5 year old and she enjoyed it.  During the "Storms" she did get a little scared.  I would say it depends on your kiddo.  If he gets scared of loud noises then he may have a hard time there. . beyond that I don't think there's too much he would be scared of.
