Rainforests?

My little brother has to do a project on rainforests(tropical and temperate) he wants to get information about what people are doing to endanger the ranforest and it's animals. Thanks 4 ur help

people arevcutting down trees resaulting in some animals loosing there habbitats thas all i can think of

One topic you may want to look is the impact of Biodiesel production on the tropical rainforest.  I was recently on a trip to Borneo and I could see where they have turned pristine rainforest into palm oil plantations to produce biodiesel. If the current rate of deforestation (for timber and plantations) continue Orang Utans could be extinct in 20 years.
