Rainy&windy british weather. Will it ever end?

Question

By the end of June, last year, summer ended and temperatures fell down to 10-15°C. With it came rain and heavy winds plus hideous gray sky. It's like this since then, but we have end of April now. Will we ever see spring or at least some summer this year?! It's been raining and gusting for 10 months now! When does the 20°C daily temperature come? I want some sun!

What's wrong with this UK weather, where's the global warming everybody is warning us of? I want to be globally warmed!

These people who were warning you about global warming, where they applying for research grants, selling newspapers or trying to make you feel better about paying more tax?

Global warming isn't quite as bad as some people have been making out - it's been cooling for the last 10 years.

Welcome back to a cold session with the sun. This will be the norm for the next few years so get used to it now. ;-) As such, there is nothing wrong with the weather, this is "normal"

I agree! last year at this time i was on the beach everyday! now im stuck in all day watching daytime tv haha! not what i should be doing during the hols. Ino its april showers but this is like a coninuous shower! hope it gets sunny sooon =]

You will just have to be patient.

In the UK we have the occasional good summer along with the occasional mild winter. You will just have to take the weather as it comes.

Why do you think everybody goes abroad for the sunshine?

Isn't it funny you are wanting the rain to stop, after 10 months of it I probably would say the same, but down here in Victoria, Australia, its the opposite, it is so dry we desperately need rain and lots of it especially in the rural country farmland areas and over our dams.

I hope that soon you will be slapping on the sun screen creams and that we down under will be putting on our woollies and putting up our brollies.

I really hope as I'm coming to England next week for a holiday .I live in Spain and it s actually rained today which was a bit of a surprise
