Raising Money.?

I want to help raise money for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation. Ideally, I'd like to host some sort of benefit dinner or something, but tht is definitely not a possibility right now. So does anyone have any ideas of a smaller, simpler event I could host to raise money? I say "event" because I don't want to have a typical fundraiser, just selling things. Any ideas?

    Do a benefit breakfast instead. Pancakes & syrup/spread whipped cream are lots cheaper than dinner fare.

    Get people and/or businesses to donate items/services for a silent auction.

    How about a cake-walk?

    Twister tournament w/entry fees.

    Bingo?
