  1. There's a good gutload receipe at www.drgecko.com (scroll to the bottom).  I substitute some things, like egg laying mash for monkey chow.  Then again, I ditched crickets all together in favor of roaches...who'd have thought how much cleaner they would turn out to be!!!

  2. I've done the cricket raising thing and I'll never do it again. It's a messy time consuming pain in the butt. Having said that, keep their tank at about 78 degrees and feed them veggie compostables. They'll eat just about any decomposing matter, including each other, but table scrap veggies are easy to get. Dust with Reptocal prior to feeding. Good luck

  3. there is nonperishable crickets at the petstore! I buy those and my frogs eat them make sure you put in in the fridge!

  4. For some reason, I find this question utterly adorable.

  5. You can feed your crickets squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, oranges, apples, potatoes (peelings are fine), alfalfa, baby rice cereal, wheat germ, prepackaged reptile foods, dry cat food, etc.

    Good Luck!

  6. You can use almost any type of fruits and vegetables. You can also use plain oatmeal for food but you need fruits for water and vitamins. You should also dust the crickets with calcium once a week before feeding them to your lizards. There are many more ways but this is the one i have found to be the easiest.

  7. just put them at a tank

  8. you can throw some potatos, apples, lettuce, carrots, oatmeal, and many other foods in your cricket tank, but make sure it doesnt go bad
