With permission from who's in charge I'd like to have a lemonade stand at a playground/park for the DAV (disabled American verterans) sometime next week. Does having a lemonade stand for something like that sound weird? I thought it would be a apropriate since tomorrows independance day(US).

I'd set up by the road for cars to come in...what should the signs say? How much should I charge per cup since it's for charity? I'm also selling pops...I bought a pack of 100 pops for $4...how much should I charge for that? Should I advertise the stand by passing out fliers the day before? Please help me ^_^

Please and thank you.

 1. to get a permit for a fundraiser you will need written permission from the DAV. Even if you are raising funds for charity people will not overpay for anything. So keep the prices reasonable.

 2. I think that's a great idea! Not weird at all! Fliers are a good idea if you have some extra time. They could say basically what you just said in your first paragraph (that it's to help the disable American veterans on our Independence Day). Make them nice and patriotic with red white and blue. You could make the stand the same way and maybe with a flag. The sign should say "Lemonade for Charity" or "Lemonade 50 cents." Price the pops at 25 cents each. Be sure to tell each customer what the money will be going to.
