Rajasthan Royals’ new entrant, Rahul Dravid has regarded youngsters as his team’s trump card in the fourth edition of the Indian Premier League.
The former http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 captain is pretty confident that the young guns in the team possess the fighting spirit to outsmart any side in the ongoing Twenty20 competition.
“I feel that it will be our advantage even though we might not have big stars but we will have a good fighting spirit when we play,” Dravid said.
Dravid described that the Royals’ franchise has always been a team that promotes a lot of young players. Noting the effort being put in by the youngsters, the former India captain remarked that some of the newcomers in the Rajasthan team are very impressive
cricketers.

Rajasthan Royals are due to lock their horns with the Kumar Sangakkara-led Deccan Chargers at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hyderabad-c792 on Saturday. Dravid, who played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last three editions of the League,
hoped to continue with the good work for the Shane Warne-led Rajasthan Royals this season.
“It`s (IPL) a terrific tournament. For me it`s a new team this season and looking forward to doing well for them. It`s nice to play for a team that wants you to play for them and hopefully I will have a good tournament,” the former Bangalore player added.
Dravid explained that he has been enjoying cricket with his new teammates. Responding to a question about the favourite side in the League, Dravid said that any side can win the competition, though he stressed on the need of unity for the ultimate glory
in the competition.
Dravid further hoped that the Bangalore crowd will support him when the Rajasthan Royals contest with his former outfit Royal Challengers in Bangalore on 19 April, 2011.
Royals, who won the IPL in its inaugural season in 2008, are looking to do well after being on the downslide in the previous two editions of the League.
