Australian legendary leg-spinner Shane Warne has dismissed reports of him undergoing a facelift treatment or using Botox for the purpose.
Warne made it clear that he is looking younger because of a new moisturiser and a healthy diet coupled with proper exercise.
There have been various reports circulating in the media claiming that Warne had undergone special treatment to look younger but the former http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 great termed all such stories as rubbish.
“Questions re facelift/Botox etc are absolute rubbish,” Warne Tweeted on a micro-blogging website.
The leg-spinner, who is in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 these days for the fourth edition of the Indian Premier League said, “I am 86kg. Lost 7kg and (am) close to being the fittest I have ever been. Fitness and being healthy is now a daily habit I feel great and never been happier
in my life.”
Warne has been shouldering his responsibilities as Rajasthan Royals skipper and coach in the ongoing season of the IPL. The leg-spinner is 41 years old but is still considered as one of the fittest players participating in the rapid-running tournament.
Warne said that he has been eating very healthy food. He commented that it gives him a great feeling when people think he is looking young.
The former Aussie player described that he has been working hard on his fitness ever since he left international cricket.
Warne, who made his Test debut against India in 1992, played his last Test match against England in January 2007. He is the second highest wicket-taker in the history of Test cricket with 708 wickets to his credit.
The Warne-led Rajasthan Royals franchise of the IPL has been going through a lean patch in the ongoing competition. They faced two consecutive defeats at the hands of Kolkata http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Knight-c71599 Riders, which has severely dented their confidence.
The skipper of Rajasthan Royals blamed his batsmen for the two successive embarrassing losses. He said he was quite hopeful to see improved performances by his players in the upcoming matches of the Twenty20 league.
