Rajasthan Royals v Chennai Super Kings - IPL 5 - Toss Report
In the 56th clash of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), defending champions Chennai Super Kings have won the toss against Rajasthan Royals and have elected to field first in a bid to restrict the opponent team on a small total in a match that is about to take place at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.
The match holds great importance for Chennai who have not had an impressive tournament and are now lingering at seventh place on the points table, while Rajasthan have a better standing on the points table with their fifth spot, nevertheless, both teams need to win in order to finish among the top four teams of the tournament to reach the play-offs.
Speaking just before the match, the Rajasthan skipper Rahul Dravid said, “Things are looking good and it's nice to come into the game with confidence. It is dangerous to look too far into the tournament. We focus on one game at a time and take it from there.”
Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings’ skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MS-Dhoni-c2028 on winning the toss and talking about the situation of his side said, “We need to be consistent. It's something you have to do as a side, we have won 1 game and lost the next and so on. We have not got the momentum but it's important to stand up and get the momentum in the business end of the tournament. Our batting has been a concern.”
Pitch Report:
This is surely not a batting track, which will be a paradise for the bowlers and cause batsmen plenty of trouble once the game begins.
