By stumps on the third day of play, in the ongoing four-day Ranji Trophy, Group A, match between http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hyderabad-c792 (India), the former have a lead by 138 runs with eight wickets remaining in their second innings after they posted 103 runs at KL Saini Ground, Jaipur.
After hammering 384 runs in their first innings, Rajasthan were given a tough competition by Hyderabad, who ended the second day of play with 160 runs on the board for the loss of five wickets.
They needed a better show today, in order to avoid an embarrassing collapse. The innings was resumed by PJ Jhala and SE Rajan, but the batting failed to prosper as the fielding side made inroads on the third delivery of the day when the latter lost his wicket for nil.

The pair batted intelligently, as they led their side towards 267 runs, before this partnership was broken by Menaria, who dismissed Reddy for 62 runs.

It was imperative for Rajasthan to halt this pair from taking the game away, as their bowlers were struggling to contain Hyderabad.

MP Arjun, was disappointing today as he scored only six runs, before being sent back to the pavilion by Choudhary.
With Jhala unbeaten on 75 runs, his side ended their innings after posting 349 runs in 96.5 overs.
From Rajasthan, RR Singh was the pick of the bowlers with a four-wicket haul.
Rajasthan then had a disappointing start to their innings, losing their first wicket with only two runs on the board.
With VA Saxena on 54 and RR Singh on ten, the side ended the day for the loss of two wickets.
