From the very start the four-day Ranji Trophy, Group A, match between Rajasthan and Hyderabad (India) was dominated by the batsmen from both sides, with the bowlers struggling to taste any success at KL Saini Ground, Jaipur.
With both sides amassing more than 300 runs in their first innings, the match was always heading for a draw.
After Rajasthan had punished their opponents by stabbing 384 runs in their first innings, Hyderabad returned the favour by replying with 349.

While wicketkeeper/batsman DH Yagnik scored 12 runs, DL Chahar played a vital role in leading his side towards 287.
With Saxena unbeaten on an inspiration knock of 146, Rajasthan declared their innings.
Hyderabad then played till the end with GH Vihari on 15 and PA Reddy on 23.
