Rajon Rondo to miss fourth-straight game

Rajon Rondo will be sidelined for the fourth-straight game with a strained hamstring when the Boston Celtics takes on the streaking Toronto Raptors on Friday 26 November at the TD Garden
in Boston.

Rondo, who is averaging 11.2 points and league’s best 14.3 assists per game this season, is still bothered by his ailing hamstring, and Celtics head coach Doc Rivers said that they would
continue to take a cautious approach on their starting point guard.

Rivers also added that Rondo participated in the team’s shoot-around before their game against the New Jersey Nets on Wednesday 24 November, but the 24-year-old guard was not feeling comfortable
prompting them to rule him out of the game.

Rivers however believes that the injury is not severe and that they just want to make sure that Rondo is 100 per cent before letting him play again. “I don't think it's anything,” he said.
“It's not a bad hamstring or whatever.”

Rondo will likely make his comeback on Tuesday 30 November when the Celtics travel to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Rivers will likely start Nate Robinson for the fourth-straight game, and the veteran head coach said that the three-time slam dunk champion played great in their last two games, making their
offence run smoothly despite playing without their starting point guard.

Without Rondo in the roster, the Celtics lost against the Toronto Raptors, 102-101, on Sunday 21 November, but they bounced with two-straight victories against the Atlanta Hawks, 99-76, on
Monday 22 November and against the New Jersey Nets, 89-83, on Wednesday 24 November.

Rookie guard Avery Bradley, who scored two points in his season debut against the Hawks, could also get some additional minutes for the Celtics, who will also play without hard-nosed guard
Delonte West, who broke his wrist on Wednesday 24 November that could sideline him for the rest of the season.
