I would probably tell you not to buy this one..especially if you thinking of doing serious mountain biking...the frame is made of steel which is extremely heavy, and you would probably be better off purchasing a bike with a hard tail aluminium frame as you can get alot more for the same amount of money...raleigh is a good make for people who are looking for a shiney looking bike for not too  much money but if its performance your lookin for.. don't buy this bike lol
