The former Schalke manager has revealed his plans of making a return to managerial role when the Bundesliga resumes next year in January.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ralf-c30492 Rangnick has expressed his desire to coach a Bundesliga side after stepping down as Schalke manager in September.
The former Royal Blues boss resigned from his post at the Veltins-Arena owing to health conditions.
Rangnick stepped down after complaining of a burn-out, and Huub Stevens was given the charge at the club. Since Stevens’ takeover, Schalke have been performing exceedingly well and find themselves third in the league standings.
Later, the X-Ray reports revealed that the manager also suffered from glandular fever. Having gone through the necessary tests and diet control plan, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879 boss is now on road to full recovery and wants to resume
his managerial career.
While talking to Bild newspaper, Rangnick mentioned:
"I am feeling a lot better. All of the positive reactions to my resignation gave me strength and of course I keep a close eye on Schalke's progress. I would like to wish the coaching team and the players as well as the entire club
all of the best in the New Year, hoping they can continue with the excellent performances they have been showing of late."
"I am delighted that they played such a good first half of the season.” He added.
The former Schalke boss led the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Royal-95-c40387 Blues into the semi-finals of the 2010/11 UEFA Champions League, and also helped them in winning the German Cup. However, the Blues had a dismal league campaign and finished 14th
in the table.
With the manager now willing to exercise his skills again, the struggling clubs in the Bundesliga such as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FC-Nuremberg-c38162, Kaiserslautern, Augsburg and Freiburg might appoint Rangnick, given his history of stabilising teams such as
Hoffenheim.
The 53-year-old led Hoffenheim from third division to the Bundesliga during his four year stay at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena.
Rangnick had also managed Hannover, Stuttgart and Hoffenheim before succeeding Felix Magath at Schalke in 2011.
