  1. Corruption, Lobbyists, PACs, Favors for Favors. Non-Intervention, being against our current trade policies, Nafta and the accompanying tribunal, the NAU ( coming sooner or later to a theater near you) Real Immigration reform. Any one discussing these subjects will be dismissed before being considered by many people because of the labels of Kook or Racist the media slander them with before people even research they're policy and record. This happens everytime.

  2. I think the problem is less that it's a strictly two party system as that the two parties are too close together on the ideological scale.  On the whole, the Rep and Dem basic platforms generally have little to choose between them.  The advantage of either more separate parties or two more divided parties is that ideas further out on the ideological spectrum can get considered.  In short, Ralph has a point...

  3. For example, too many assets of the economy being inappropriately used, to the detriment of the public good:

eg.  the outrageous cost of a health care system which doesn't even provide reasonably good health,  the deterioration of the infrastructure,  the government's toleration of pollution problems that undermine public health (especially where the working class lives),  the growth of public sector compensation to the extent that it becomes an overhead dragging down the economy, the funding of government through debt,   the lack of access of the general public to elected officials because of the lobbyists, etc.

  4. corporate malfeasance, corporate involvement in government

  5. Ditto, Jneg7!
