The central govt claimed that Ram Sethu was destroyed by Lord Rama himself. First they said that there is no such Ram Sethu Bridge, now it says that the Ram Sethu bridge was destroyed by Lord Rama himself. Now, they accepted that there was a bridge called Ram Sethu Bridge. In fact, this Ram Sethu was respected by Hindus, muslims and christians. Now, they accepted not only the existence of Lord Rama but also the existence of Ram Sethu bridge.

  1. That's rightly said ..

  2. Ram Sethu..  it is not correct to say that Ram Sethu bridge was destroyed by Lord Rama himself

  3. Ram Sethu, also known as Adam's bridge in english does exist at the very least. It is a 30 mile (48 km) long chain of shoals.

Furthermore, its image is also shown in

The matter of debate is the creation and age of this bridge. So if something exists, how can it be destroyed? That too by Lord Rama himself.

I do not believe it is right to say that Lord Rama destroyed the bridge.

I personally do not think any good will come out by destroying this structure. As the wikipedia article states, that ships cannot sail through this area because the sea is very shallow (only 30 feet deep at most).  Then why burn so much money for this useless project?
