one of my friend is trying for a baby for last 3 months .yesterday she went to a doctor just for a check up .doctor prescribes infantril tablets for 5 days..i searched the details of tablets in net .but i dint get a satisfactory result.infantril tablets are using for what?pls help me

    Clomiphene interacts with estrogen receptors in order to initiate ovulation. Basically, you're trying to "kick start" follicle stimulation and egg release. This creates a specific window for fertilization to take place.

    It's only given for 5 days, because the ovaries either respond, or they don't. And you don't want to be taking the drug after fertilization takes place because it could hard the embryo/fetus. If it doesn't work, it can be tried a few more times, but the doctor will best be able to judge.
