  1. sis calenders are estimations and prepared before the moon has been sighted therefore check with your masjid/community.  and if you have two different groups in your community, one following global/international, and one local sighting, then i'd always say international sighting.  according to that ramadan is Monday inshallah.

    wa aleikis salaam wa rahmatullah

  2. salam sis!

I live in Michigan too, and i heard that ramadan is probably on Monday, or a slight chance of Tuesday.

for sure not tomorrow, but if Ramadan is Monday, the Taraweeh start Sunday.

salam, where do u live in Michigan?

Edit* i wish i lived in Dearborn, i live in Grand Rapids.

But I heard that it will start on Monday for sure, i guess well find out tomorrow night!

  3. ramadan is definitelyy on monday.

wouldnt be on sunday. its on monday or tuesday.

    the 29th or 30th of sha2ban(month b4 ramadan)

anyways its monday, islamically if a trust worthy muslim sees the moon then you must fast the next day, this includes in different countries.

we are supposed to be 1, were everyone fast on the same day and were everyone have eid on the same day.

here in australia the moon was seen so, it is monday.

  4. never.

  5. Check with your local masjid please as the calender is already pre-determined

  6. Well today is Saturday where i am. its like 10:30 ramadan is monday.

  7. Here in my country it is Monday i think it should be the same all over the world

  8. Depends on the wording and what not.  (not impossible for it to be a s***w up)

For everyone thats fasting monday....ramadan then starts Sunday at magrib.  Thats why taraweeh starts sunday night and isn't done after the last day of fasting.

We are used to the day starting at midnight, but its sunset in islam.

  9. Its on Monday
