By his own admission, Donald J. Buzanowski molested 14 boys over a 20-year period while working as a Catholic priest in Green Bay.

And he still gets away with it, plenty more, shall we blame the whole of christianity for this?

  1. I know you addressed this question to those in the "Ramadan Community", but as a Catholic I thought I should respond.

This entire priestly scandal has sickened me.

No, this isn't a "normal practice in Christianity" HOWEVER, sadly, the Vatican (the official Church Hierarchy for the Catholic Church) has done all it can in trying to *sweep the issue under the rug*!!!

As a Catholic (and more importantly, as a humble person who has sumbitted to the will of God) I am ASHAMED that my church has done such a thing.

Rest asured. The majority of the Christian/Catholic faithful (the rank and file, regular members of the church) are just as pissed off as I am.

This is absolutely disgusting behavior and this priest should not only be removed from the priesthood, but he should face criminal prosecution in the country he committed these crimes.

No you should not blame the *whole* of Christianity for this (otherwise you would be blaming people like me who are EQUALLY UPSET AND OUTRAGED that this horrible c**p has happened).

The people you SHOULD *blame* are those who reside in the Vatican. The individual Pope and his cardinals. These are the men who have the power and are facilitating these priests. Pope Benedict XVI has played a big role in it, and THANK GOD he is so old that he will likely pass on soon. I hope that the next Pope does a much better job in pointing out these corrupt child rapists and forcing them to face their responsibilities to the criminal justice system.

  2. Normal practise? No, but it does happen, in some countries it happens on the table and people are caught and punished and in some countries it happens under the table where people are not caught and people don't even wish to speak about it, because it such a shame that these demons could exist and the children are never helped. Salam

  3. agree with joker.

    leave them alone,

if the dog bites u that doesnt mean that u have to bite him too.

  4. its not the norm.  Its just a sick person who abused his position of authority and happens to be a priest.

  5. Unfortunately, paedophelia is an epidemic plaguing all of humanity. It has no boundaries, it can secretly hide in the soul of any person from any background, despite what their culture/religion may tell them. Yes, there have been several stories in the news lately regarding instances of Catholic Priests molesting children. Is this horrible crime caused by the religion? I don't think so. I know several Catholics (including my sister) who would never even think to do such a horrible thing. My personal hypothesis is that people with such tendencies seek positions of power, where they can have access to children. Research the number of children who are molested by school teachers, relatives, baby sitters, etc...

  6. well first of all ramadan is Muslim...second of all, it seems to be happening more and more. christians molesting children. it's common now. which is sad. Although im not christian

  7. Its sad how we don't really follow our religions teaching:( I thank Allah that He made me Muslim! May Allah save us all from such people!!!

Its real sad that he call himself a priest:(

  8. nope.

  9. No wonder kids don't go to Church these days....

    Can we blame them?

  10.   For 5 years of my life that i spent in US not on a single day of ramadan did i leave my fating... i kept fasts on all the ramadan days.................!!!!!!!!!

A true Muslim no matter where ever he goes always remains a muslim and practices the blessed and unique virtues of Islam which every other religion is deprived of !

When my Allah tells me fast in the Month of Ramadan why Shouldn't I?????????

No matter which part of earth we are on we have to fast!!!

Even a Nasa  spacewomen who is a Muslim and is reported to have been on a space visit is said to have been fasting in the space !!!!!!

Are there no mosques in the non muslim countries? are there no practising Muslims?? there are, Yes there are in every part of the world muslims embracing the Ramadan and celebrating the Eid!!!!!!

  11. ha nice.....but we still have to fix our problems regardless

  12. isn't it funny how when people in america do that c**p and they never get caught, but if a Muslim-hating neighbor will hatefully call the FBI and say there's a terrorist across the street, they get there within 5 minutes and throw him in jail for no reason??

I personally think christians need to take care of their millions of problems before they insult Islam.

  13. No it's not. And like another answerer said, people that do those kind of things are not following the ways of God.

If people in all religions would follow God's ways, instead of following deluded men that think they are God's messenger, those kind of things would not happen.

It's too bad that there are those that blindly follow other men's ways and not God, and end up being a detriment for the good of all mankind.

An example of this, is people who deem Muhammed as an example to follow for living every aspect of their lives, (Sunnah). Those are the people that are easily offended and go around behaving in violent, warlike, murderous behavior like Muhammed did.

Are you going to follow Sunnah and have a 9 year old bride when you are 54 years of age, or would it be a good idea to follow Jesus(swt), who "Never" sinned?

  14. let me ask this if it is normal too in Christianity countries?

  15. What is your point? Children get molested all the time by Mullahs. You don't hear about it because no one talks about it in our culture. We need to get these stories out in the open people rather than focusing on what is happening in other people's culture. It is not that it is happening more and more these days. But rather victims are coming out and telling there stories so they could protect future children. Same needs to happen in the Muslim culture.
