Ramiz Raja backs Misbah ul Haq as the ODI captain – Cricket News Update
Former Pakistan captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ramiz-Hasan-Raja-c83872, has come out in support of the current Test and One Day International (ODI) skipper, Misbah ul Haq, who he believes, can still lead the country in the 50-over format.
The Green Shirts have failed to perform up to the mark in ODI cricket this year, losing 10 of the 17 encounters, although they went on to clinch the Asia Cup 2012, beating http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 in the final at Dhaka.

A number of former cricketers have slammed Misbah’s approach as a leader, who tends to be ultra-defensive at times and allows the opposition to run away with the show.
Raja however, believes that Pakistan cricket needs some stability, advocating the middle-order batsman’s retention as captain.

said while talking to Pakpassion.

Ramiz admitted that the cricketer from Mianwali does disappoint at times, but his performance in general has not been bad, since he took over the ODI captaincy after the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 Cricket World Cup 2011.
"You can query some of Misbah's tactics as captain, but I think, overall, he has done a good job, and I would not change him as captain of the one day team at this point in time," he added.
Pakistan’s next ODI series is going to be against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 in December and it remains to be seen if PCB continues to show faith in the middle-order batsman, although he is at the twilight of his career.
