The defender has voiced his opinion regarding the failure of the English champions in making their impact over the prestigious tournament as he had not seen this coming.
Real Madrid’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-Ramos-c33096 is simply astounded at how English Premier League giants, Manchester City, have performed in the UEFA Champions League so far. The Spaniard expressed that he had expected the Blues to perform with class, however, they could not
manage to impress with their display of football.
According to the veteran full-back, City were predicted to be Madrid’s primary in competition in Group D. However, things turned out to be quite different as they have been unable to secure a single victory in their European campaign so far.
Jose Mourinho’s men are set to travel to Manchester this midweek in order to lock horns with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini’s men. For the hosts, the match is a must-win fixture and they must secure all three points in order to keep alive their hopes of making it to the
next stage of the competition.
The match which will take place at the Etihad Stadium is expected to be a thriller as both sides will be looking to achieve victory.
The last time the two teams met, the match ended in favour of Los Blancos. The Santiago Bernabeu faithful witnessed a great encounter as their side paved their way to a 3-2 win at home.
However, Ramos has stressed that City’s performance in the prestigious tournament was something which he could not have predicted.
"For me, it’s a surprise they are nearly out of the Champions League. We really thought City would be our main rivals to top the group. City are a big group of players, not just individuals. But that does not guarantee success in the Champions League." the
Spanish international told reporters."

to win.”
City will face Madrid on Wednesday and they have to win the game in order to have the slightest of chances in order to qualify for the next round of the prestigious tournament.
