Rams’ quarterback Sam Bradford doubtful against Bengals – NFL News
St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford was not hundred per cent fit when he played against Seattle Seahawks on Monday. Unfortunately, his brave attitude could not earn his team a victory and his participation only added to the
worries of the Rams. After the game, reports came out that Bradford’s injury has become more severe, jeopardising the quarterback’s chances to play the next game.
Rams are going to take on Cincinnati Bengals in the week-15 game of the National Football League current season on Sunday. Rams had around a week’s time to prepare for the Seahawks, but they have got a short week ahead as they
prepare to play the Bengals.
Bradford did not practise on Wednesday and hoped that he would be fit enough to play against the Bengals.
“I think last week even though I did not play the previous week, playing on Monday night was a bonus...more time to recover,” Bradford said.  “Whereas this week we only have six days so that is definitely not something that is
in our favour right now.
“We have still got four more days and a lot can happen in that time so hopefully we can use as much time as possible to let it heal and hopefully it will be ready to go by Sunday,” he added.
Sam has played 10 games this season. He has completed 191 passes of 357 attempts for 2,164 yards. He has six touchdowns and six interceptions to his credit with a quarterback rating of 70.5. In the game against the Seahawks, he
completed 12 of 29 attempts for 193. He failed to get any touchdown and threw one interception. His quarterback rating for the game was 49.9.
Rams are hoping for him to recover and be completely fit for the next games. They are placed at the bottom of the National Football Conference West division after losing 11 games in the season and the fans, players and the management
desperately want the season to end on a positive note.
After the Bengals, Rams are going to face two very tough opponents. They will take on Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers in week 16 and 17 respectively.
