Ran Grand Am v6 through water, now the engine is sputtering?

We recently had some flooding at the entrance of our neighborhood and I didn't realize how deep and how long it was and I tried to drive through it, I managed to get through it but my power steering went out until after I turned the engine off and restarted it. Now the engine is sputtering during acceleration and isn't smooth at all, how can I fix this?

you probably sucked water into the air intake... I would take out all the spark plugs and wires...take apart the distributer and let it all dry out for a couple days...its probobly got water somwhere in the firing system and causing uneven spark...i might even go as far as replacing plugs, wires, distributer cap coil and rotor....good luck
