The Ranchi cricket fans are all set to vote for their favourite cricket star, the triumphant Indian skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, to boost up his chances to win the ICC People’s Choice Award.

"Winning the World Cup and his innovative game plans will see through Dhoni on the top of the chart," said Hussain under whom the current Indian skipper played in the Sheeshmahal Trophy from Central Coalfield of India. "All our former teammates are getting
in touch to vote for our former star teammate," he added further.
Another domestic Indian cricketer, Ajay Kumar, said that he has inquired with his friends about the online voting system for the award, adding that he will vote for Dhoni, his former rival teammate. Dhoni was the captain of Commando Club that played against
Ajay Kumar-led Youth Sporting, in 1996-97 Ranchi cricket league.
Last year’s http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SR-Tendulkar-c2556, and Dhoni’s former club coach, Chanchal Bhattacharya, hoped that this year’s award would also come to India.
"I hope Dhoni would win the award for India for the second straight year after Sachin Tendulkar got the inaugural award last year. My family members will vote for Dhoni," said Bhattacharya, who used to coach Dhoni when he was a member of the Commando Club.

Bhattacharya told the media reporters that he had a chat with Dhoni’s parents on phone and they were really excited to know that the Ranchi wicketkeeper batsman has been nominated for the honor.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the 30-year-old wicketkeeper batsman, has seen http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 reaching the top, since his appointment as the captain of Indian cricket team in 2007. The team claimed the 2007 World Twenty20 Championship title in his first outing as the national
captain.
It was under Dhoni’s captaincy that India became World’s number one Test team in 2009, an achievement India is still enjoying. He also brought home the ICC Cricket World Cup after an interval of 28 years.
Cricket fans can vote online for their favourite cricket stars till August 25, 2011. The winner will be announced on September 12, this year.
