However, Dhoni’s achievement outshines that of Dev as the former lifted the coveted Trophy at home, something never done before in the history of the tournament.
After the World Cup 2011, Dhoni went on to lead Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) fourth season that started on April 8.
‘Midas’ Singh Dhoni also led the CSK to claim the IPL title for the second time in a row.
After playing through the two lengthy tournaments, Dhoni has returned to his hometown for rest.
Sudesh Kumar arranged a fabulous dinner party in honour of Dhoni last night.
Dhoni and his wife, Sakshi, were under the spotlight at the function. They received uncountable appreciation notes and felicitation comments from the invitees, including politicians and civil society figures.

Though the skipper has skipped Team India’s http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 tour to take rest after a hectic schedule, he has many commercial commitments to attend during the next couple of weeks.
However, Dhoni is set to visit the Mahashakti temple today before leaving Ranchi. The captain is a regular visitor of the temple from where he seeks spiritual inspiration, helping him on the field.
