Randall's Alannah geared up for second straight victory
Straight from the ace title of the Countysligoraces.com Auction Race, the Seamus Fahey trained bay fill, Randall's Alannah, is going to show her guts in the Rooftop Restaurant at Gowran Park Nursery, and cherishing the sweet memories of the last race, she
will certainly demonstrate a winning performance today as well.
The high-stakes Irish contest will go down on the 7-furlong good to soft course of Gowran Park. Randall's Alannah has experienced such sort of race conditions, but this venue is quite new to her.
To bag the cash prize worth €6,900, the two-year-old novice runner will have to compete against a dozen of rivals. The fantastic filly showed a couple of impressive runs at Sligo during the last month.
First, she finished as the runner-up in the Ladies Day At Sligo 9th August Nursery Handicap, and then marvellously broke her maiden by winning the Countysligoraces.com Auction Race.
With these brilliant performances, the daughter of High Chaparral out of Randall’s Diana proved her skills well. Fahey schooled the filly for almost a week to build up on that momentum.
At the moment, the Finbarr Kelly owned and bred maverick sprinter is brimming with confidence, and this seems to be a good omen for her ahead of today’s contest. Thus, we can expect that Randall's Alannah will be able to thrive assertively as none of her
rivals is strong enough to challenge her.
Horizon Sky is likely to fight for the runner-up position. The David Wachman trained bay colt is desperate to break his maiden as well. Debuting in May 2012, he went on to finish second in a big race entitled as Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund
Maiden.
After a pathetic performance, the rookie runner again stood second in his last start known as Rooftop Restaurant at Gowran Park Nursery. That race took place at Gowran Park. Thus, the colt is familiar with the track, and this thing will surely help him
a lot in the coming marathon.
Though the competition will be fairly tough but success is destined to go to Randall's Alannah. Let us enjoy the way the filly sizzles.
