Random Ladybugs on my wall or lamp?

I live in a 2nd floor apartment in NYC and my bedroom window is shut because i have an a/c. So lately I've been spotting a ladybug either on my wall or lamp. I remove the bug from my bedroom and two days later a new one appears in the same spot. How is this possible???

Certain years they are a problem but it is rare.  You probably won't go through this again next year or for many years thereafter.  But when they are in great number they manage to get into buildings via vents, crack and holes.  Think of how lucky you are, some people have problems like rat infestation!
