  1. yes they should be allowed

  2. Believe it or not, there is probably at least one drug abuser in any school. I believe random drug tests are too invasive and costly for schools to operate. Giving every student a random test may be unnecessary and expensive, with almost no benefit. In addition, it just attracts lawsuits and criticism for invasion of privacy. I think the best substitute is to just not give random medical drug tests but random screenings by canines. Police dogs will simply just sniff up lockers and classes unexpectedly and is quick, allowing you to spot any abuse in an instant. In sports activities, maybe the athletics department will require a medical test drug for student athletes to take by their doctors. And I can trust doctors swore an oath to keep everything in truth. For all other extracurriculars, I believe it lies in the students themselves. For example, I'm sure no one would vote for a guy with a questionable past for Class President, do we?

  3. I believe that they are unconstitutional and therefore they should be banned.

  4. Yes. But I also believe there should be random drug tests for all students. In my opinion, the kids not involved with sports or clubs are the ones that will most likely be abusing illegal substances.

  5. I agree with the user above me, but not because I think other students would be more likely to do drugs. I think everyone should be tested just for their safety and to figure out if there needs to be any intervention...
