Sorry it's a weird Q, but I have noticed that each of my children, having passed their 1st birthday's began sleeping across their bed/cot rather then head to foot position. My first slept like this from age 1yr-3yrs and my second who is 1yr has just begun using this sleep positon also. All of the children in my family have done this including me when I was small (my mum tells me) have your children done this?

  1. Not only do my kids do it, but I do it if my husband is traveling and I have the whole bed to myself.

  2. hello my son is nearly 2 and he is still in a cotbed at the moment and he sleeps like that and well all over the place really, i thought its because he has one of those sleeping bags but obviously not reading these answers.

  3. yeah I use to do that. My heads was on the pillow when I began sleeping than by the time I woke up my head was on the opposite side where my feet use to be.

The best thing to do is get a single bed that doesnt give you the space to move around to much or place the bed against the wall or sleep them on a coach/sofa to limit them moving around at night.

  4. my daughter did this, she slept all over, as she was in grobags it was fine,  now in normal bed she has stopped doing it.

  5. IT NOT A WIERD QUESTION AT ALL. THERE LOTS OF BABIES AND TODDLER THAT WILL SLEEP LIKE THAT.

IT NORMAL. MY 4YRS OLD WILL SLEEP SIDE TO SIDE IN ANOTHER WORDD SHE WILL SLEEP IN THE MIDDLE OF HER BED SIDEWAYS.

  6. omg my son sleeps all over def normal!

  7. Yes my boy did that to so i turned his bed and he was fine after that

  8. My son does.  dont worry about it

  9. My son, does this too, kinda. He sleeps all over the bed, in almost any position. I did the same when I was younger, and didn't outgrow it until I was about 11.
