Random music playing on my computer?

random music like rap music keeps playing on my computer i dont even have them songs ive never even heard it before the strange thing is no programs are running! its scaring me somebody help

if you are using wireless internet service, it might be picking up signals from around the area.

check if aim/ web browser is up

usually they'll play them periodically

idk thats wierd do you have a program like limewire. if so other people may have been using it and left a song on . if you do also check limewire because if you play a song it will play until the song is finish or the program is shut down. ask anyone in your household if they were listening to music. it could also be a virus or spyware make sure your antivirus and spy ware detecter is updated. :) have a nice day

Sometimes websites have embedded music that plays when you visit the site.

That's really weird so have I, I was playing a film earlier and the warning tune kept going off-I closed everything down and it was still going- Restart your computer it worked for me

is it possible that you share you computer?

if you do, and have separate accounts, then the other account might have ITUNES up or some other music playing device.  Tell them to log on their account and shut it off.

You have a virus, get one of these:

- Avast

- Nod32

- Panda
