  3. Numbers for me.  I have a photographic memory when it comes to numbers.

    I'll always remember 867-5309, even if Jenny loses it.

  7. There is a "figure alphabet" that you can find in many books on training your memory. You use a consonant sound to replace each digit. Then, you add vowel sounds to make easily-remembered words. It sounds complicated but, once you learn the "figure alphabet" (ten minutes or so), it gets really easy. If you feel like being able to recite pi to 100 decimal places, this is the way to do it.

    You need to take into account the way the characters are learned (read, written or heard), as people have different learning preferences.
