Random pizza question?

when you order a pizza and a tiny table looking thing comes on the middle of it..... what is the piont of that?

Its to make sure that the pizza isn't smashed when it gets to you. They hold up the top of the boxes so that other pizzas can be set on top of it.

well when you order take out it's to keep the lid of the cardboard pizza box from sticking to the cheese.  They come in handy to keep in case you make a cake or something else that you don't want the top squished.  Wash them of course before you use them.
