Why is commitment easy to avoid?

Commitment is easy to avoid because it's no longer build directly in to our social structure. Imagine; not being able to date  anyone unless you were only considering marrying them. Also, not being able to have s*x until after marriage. Divorce is never an option.

So, there commitment is made even with the most unreasonable people. Now, commitment isn't needed. It's only there for those who wish to reach out and try to grab it. Because of all the freedoms now, it is hard. Many people will wonder if they've chosen the right person, and they wonder so much they start to think that they didn't, and then they try again.

It's all the freedom; I'm not saying that it's bad, I'm just saying that is why we lack commitment.
