Randy Orton and Evan Bourne vs. Edge and Chris Jericho

It all started when the Rated – R wrestling superstar, Edge hosted his controversial talk show on Monday Night RAW and invited the former undisputed world champion Chris Jericho as his guest. Both wrestlers have a long history together as they together became the World Tag Team champions. Both of these wrestlers will also be competing in the upcoming Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Their talk show started with controversy and ended when Chris Jericho trapped Edge in his brutal submission lock called the “Walls of Jericho”. Before Chris Jericho could break the legs of Edge, the anonymous General Manager of RAW made an announcement. All the wrestling fans sitting by the arena paused in silence so that they could hear the announcement.

The anonymous General Manager communicated with the ring announcer, Michael Cole via email and told the wrestling world that they would see a big match tonight. He said that the old rivals Chris Jericho and Edge will team up to fight against the tag team of Evan Bourne and Randy Orton. The crowd erupted in cheers for this huge main event level match. The fans also wanted to see the apex predator of WWE, the viper, Randy Orton in action that night.

On the other hand, Chris Jericho and Edge had to face new realities and had to team up with each other for the sake of winning the match. The fans stood on their feet when the famous Randy Orton entered the arena. Randy Orton was joined by the high flying and extremely athletic Evan Bourne. It was initially Evan Bourne who started the match against Chris Jericho.

Chris Jericho was determined to inflict maximum pain and punishment on Evan Bourne as Chris delivered his knee to Evan’s abdomen. Chris Jericho then grabbed the head of Evan Bourne and banged it multiple times on the ring corner. Chris Jericho applied pressure on the neck of Evan Bourne by standing on his body.

Then the high flying Evan Bourne went in to action as he jumped high in the air and delivered a kick to the face of Chris Jericho. Evan Bourne then tagged in the former WWE and the former World Heavy Weight Champion, Randy Orton. Randy Orton had to face the fresh Edge. Edge attacked Randy Orton from behind and kicked him on different parts of his body. Edge and Chris Jericho then frequently tagged in each other to keep the fresh man in the ring. This strategy helped them to focus their attacks on the predator, Randy Orton.

There was an apparent tension between Chris Jericho and Edge who failed to blend together as a team. Then Edge did what many expected him to do from the very start of the match. Edge ran in the ring and speared Chris Jericho in his abdomen and walked out of the arena. This made it easy for Evan Bourne and Randy Orton. Evan Bourne climbed the steel post and prepared himself for his famous wrestling finisher called the “Air Bourne”. Evan Bourne jumped extremely high in the air and landed on the abdomen of Chris Jericho. Evan Bourne went for the cover on an already battered Chris Jericho and the referee counted to three with both shoulders of Chris Jericho touching the ring floor.

When the match was over and when Evan Bourne and Randy Orton stood proudly in the ring, Randy Orton performed an unexpected move. He grabbed the face of his tag team partner, Evan Bourne and then smashed it on the ring floor. The crowd was stunned on this move by Randy Orton. Randy Orton indeed proved in front of the professional wrestling world that it would be every man for him self in the career defining and career threatening Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the upcoming Pay per View.
