Randy Orton and Sheamus defeat their Vengeance opponents during Monday Night Raw – WWE Update
The Apex Predator, Randy Orton and the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus captured a tremendous victory over their Vengeance opponents, Christian and Cody Rhodes in a tag team match during Monday Night Raw at Frank Erwin Centre in Austin, Texas on October 24.
The Viper faced the Intercontinental Champion, Cody in a challenge at Vengeance while Sheamus went one on one with Captain Charisma. Both Sheamus and the Viper captured their Vengeance challenge matches by delivering their finishing moves to their opponents.
Soon after the attack on the COO, Triple H by Kevin Nash, the Viper and the Celtic Warrior came out for their follow up matches against their Vengeance opponents. Cody and Christian also headed towards the ring and the WWE Universe booed them.
The tag team bout started with the Viper and Captain Charisma. Christian tried to get the momentum and took the Viper into the corner. Orton fought back and countered Christian with a clothesline and big back drop. Keeping up momentum the Viper tagged in
the Celtic Warrior. Escaping from Sheamus, Christian tagged Cody. The I.C. Champion Cody came in to fight with Sheamus and got the backdrop from the Irish Superstar.
The bout continued between the four superstars with amazing submissions. At the end while Sheamus tried to hit Cody his finishing move the Celtic Cross Christian distracted him. Cody took the opportunity and hit a Beautiful Disaster Kick on the Irish Superstar.
Cody also distracted the referee while Christian hit a Spear on Sheamus. Cody covered Sheamus but only got a two count.
The Viper entered the ring and RKO’ed Christian. Cody once again went for the Beautiful Disaster Kick but Sheamus escaped and delivered Cody the Brogue Kick. The Irish Superstar pinned the Intercontinental Champion for the three-count victory. The WWE Universe
applauded the Viper and Sheamus on the remarkable victory.
Despite the crowd in the arena witnessing the shocking attack on the COO, Triple H by Kevin Nash, but they also got to watch famous superstars like John Cena, Randy Orton and Sheamus overcoming their opponents during Monday Night Raw.
