The Viper, Randy Orton became the new World Heavyweight Champion after defeating The former World Champion, Captain Charisma, Christian in a “No Holds Barred Match” during WWE’s pay-per-view event “SummerSlam” on August 14 at Los Angeles.
When the match was about to start, Christian’s lifelong friend, Edge amazed WWE Universe with his appearance in the ring. The Rated-R superstar headed towards the ring with the microphone while Christian was in the ring. The Rated-R superstar gave another
bigger surprise to The WWE Universe by berating Christian that how he won the title.
Edge spoke out that he was ashamed that Christian won the World title through humming for rematches, with assistance of lawyers. Edge berated Christian that he captured the title by disqualification not by own effort. The Rated-R Superstar left the ring
and let Christian to defend his title by his own way. Afterwards, The Viper came out to face Christian.
When the fight started, The Viper took down Christian and started beating him. As it was the No Holds Barred Match, there were no rules and the only way to survive was to win or give up so the fight became very brutal. Both superstars hammered each other
with Steel Chairs, Kendo Sticks, TV Monitors, Tables, Steel Ring Steps and Metal Garbage Cans.
They both underwent severe punishment and received hits from all of the weapons by each other. After so many near falls and finishing submissions, Christian was nailed with a brutal RKO by The Viper in mid-air on the top of steel steps while Christian flew
from second ropes for the sake of hitting Cross Body. The Legend Killer pinned Christian and got three counts to become the World Heavyweight Champion.
The Viper once again retained the World title that he lost to Christian at Money in the Bank. The Viper celebrated his great victory while WWE Universe chanted for him and applauded him on his victory. The Viper had listened the voices in his head and shined
with the World Title.
