Randy Orton becomes the next ‘Big Red’ victim – WWE News
After John Cena, it is now turn of Randy Orton to suffer the Big Red Monster Kane’s wrath. Yesterday, on Friday night SmackDown, the Kane unleashed his fury over Randy Orton who was trying to avenge his February 13, Raw SuperShow’s humiliation in a one on one match with Daniel Bryan.
Randy Orton was aggressive and he tried delivering the RKO twice to Daniel Bryan, but the latter escaped. Later on, Randy Orton got his grip on Bryan to deliver his signature DDT just when the Big Red Machine intervened. This was an excellent opportunity for Bryan and he capitalised on it by pushing Orton into the steel ring post and quickly went in the ring to win the match by count-out.
Kane’s intervention was unexpected and meaningless, but that is what the Big Red Monster always does. He sucks his victims into a BIG RED NIGHTMARE when they expect it the least. Kane was not even bothered of the fact that Bryan was announced winner as soon as the bell rang. He kept himself busy with thrashing Orton. Kane started a post-match fight by giving Orton a high-rise chokeslam on the canvas.
It should be noted here that this was Orton’s ring-return match, and Kane had not forgotten it. After the devastating chokeslam, he grabbed the mike, leaned over the fallen viper and said ‘WELCOME BACK’. This was not the first time the WWE Universe saw Kane beating the h**l out of a crowd favourite for no apparent reason. This is what he did with John Cena and this is what he is known for. However, this time no one expected the Big Red Monster to cost Randy Orton a match against Daniel Bryan, Orton’s long time rival.
Although there were speculations of Kane fighting Aksana, Theodroe Long’s girlfriend, we saw him doing something much more horrifying. The way he thrashed Randy Orton was savage and probably this beat will put Orton on another vacation. On the other hand, this can also be a way of setting a match between Kane and Randy Orton for WrestleMania 28, since both of these high-profile fighters have no confirmed opponents yet for the big day.
