Randy Orton goes one on one with the World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry – WWE News
Randy Orton ‘The Viper’ went one on one with the World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry last night on Friday Night SmackDown. While Randy was trying to beat Henry, the unstoppable machine, Kane interrupted. The Viper ran to save his dad who was being tortured
by the Big Red Monster.
The match started with Henry dominating Orton, but the shrewd Viper got his way out of Henry’s assault. By the end of the match, Orton was in control. After delivering two consecutive clotheslines to Henry, the Viper delivered a deadly DDT. Orton then tried
to deliver his signature DDT against the ropes but Henry countered it, gripping Orton for the World’s Strongest Slam. However, again Orton escaped and went for an RKO, but this time Henry pushed the Viper through the ropes out of the ring.
Henry came down to assault Orton but instead got some hard slams. Orton took full advantage of the opportunity and smashed Henry’s head to the ringside pole twice. Orton went back to the ring waiting for Henry to be counted out just when Kane appeared on
the screen with a special message for Orton.
Kane started with telling Orton that he had to beat Orton at WrestleMania to complete himself as the monster he has always been and that he did it. He further said that he realised Orton has the instincts of a monster too after seeing how brutal he can be
on last Friday’s SmackDown when Orton defeated Kane. While Orton was showing signs of disagreement towards Kane, the Big Red Monster showed Orton his father, who was lying on the floor after an assault by Kane.
As soon as Orton saw his dad, he lost his mind and ran backstage, abandoning the match with Henry. Orton found his dad on the floor lying unconscious and before he could help him, Kane attacked him with a steel rod in the abdomen. Before leaving Kane looked
at both of them and said, “I am a sucker for family reunions”.
The match ended as a ‘Double Count-out’ since none of the fighters could make it back to the ring.
