Randy Orton’s comeback falls heavy on Wade Barrett – Wrestling news
The Viper Randy Orton made his ring return on Sunday’s live event in Las Cruces, and attacked Wade Barrett and others to make his presence prominent.
Orton, the public hero, was out due to a back injury, but he had to make his comeback to be a part of the most anticipated WWE event of the year, Royal Rumble.
Initially, news suggested that Orton will face Wade Barrett in his return match, but what happened was something quite the opposite. Isaac, a Dot Net reader stated, “They didn't really fight. Orton came out and attacked Barret, then Primo, Epico, Kofi Kingston,
Santino Marella, and JTG came out to I guess stop the attack. They fought in the crowd, and then Orton RKO'd everyone, including Kofi, after Barrett ran away. Santino ran out to avoid the RKO in a funny moment.”
Orton is a part of the WWE’s Raw, however this weekend he was not advertised for Monday Night Raw. Instead, Orton was advertised for Tuesday night’s Smackdown show. Orton has become one of the most glorified WWE stars today. The upcoming Royal Rumble event
is being held in his home town which is the mere reason as to why he is being called the favourite.
Orton comes from a family of professional wrestlers. His grandfather was Bob Orton sr., his father was Cowboy Bob Orton and his uncle was Barry O.
Orton’s initial start with the WWE started with Evolution (a group formed by Triple H which included Batista and Ric Flair as members too). He soon left Evolution when he won the World Heavyweight Championship at the age of 24. He became the youngest World
Heavyweight Champion ever, and then moved on to become the ‘Legend Killer’ by brutally defeating legends like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels.
Later on, in 2008, Orton formed his own group by the name ‘The Legacy’ with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase as its members. The group broke in 2010 due to a quarrel between all three members forcing them to fight as single wrestlers once again. As for now, it
is not sure if Randy Orton will be competing in the Royal Rumble or not, but chances are he will.
