Swansea City defender, Angel Rangel, lauded the club’s summer signings for making an instant impression at the Liberty Stadium.
The South http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wales-c3041 outfit acquired the services of the Spanish trio of Michu, Pablo Hernandez and Chico Flores during the summer.
Michu has been particularly impressive so far this season, having already pocketed 6 goals in his 8 appearances. On the other hand, Flores and Hernandez have not shown any signs of uneasiness at their new home, and have quickly adapted to the Swans style
of play.
Rangel, who himself arrived at the Liberty Stadium back in 2007, praised the trio for settling in quickly in the Premier League.
The defender was especially in awe for Michu for having already hit the top gear, and believes that the midfielder has continued from here he left off last term.
“I think Michu, Chico and Pablo have settled in very quickly,” he told the reporters.
“Michu has already scored six goals this season, which is brilliant considering he’s only played in eight games.”
The Swans were able to close out the deal for the 26-year old for a cheap 2 million pounds transfer fee. Earlier, the midfielder notched up 15 goals for Vallecano in La Liga in the prevenient term.
Meanwhile, the club’s record signing, Hernandez, has struggled to secure a place in the regular team. Manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-c25261 Laudrup prefers to start with Nathan Dyer and Wayne Routledge upfront and has not involved the Spaniard too much in his plans.
However, Rangel was sure that the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 player will soon be able to win over his manager’s trust.
He further said that the striker was still taking time to come to grips with the nature of the game in EPL, but feels he will add an extra dimension in their frontline.
“He’s a Spanish international, which says a lot about his quality, and I think he gives the manager even more options going forward. I think he will get better and better with every game he plays, and that’s great news for us,” he added.
Hernandez has only made a single appearance for Swansea since his 5.55 million pounds move on the transfer deadline date.
