He revealed his longing of replicating the 29 year old’s phenomenal commitment towards Swansea City and paid his tribute over his fantastic career.
“He has been a great player for this club. He has been through everything here — fighting against relegation to the Conference to playing in the Premier League,” he told the reporters.
“I've managed 200 league appearances since I moved here, and I would love to reach 400 games like Brits. He is a great example to everyone at the club.”
The Welsh team broke into the English top division last season – becoming the first side from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wales-c3041 to have achieved the feat – and impressed everyone with their fluent playing style.
Having survived their debut campaign in an emphatic manner, the defender revealed that they have now set their focus of establishing themselves as the league’s regulars.
He also let out his comfort of being at the Liberty Stadium and said that everyone at the city were excited about the ongoing season.
“When I got here the talk was to get to the Premier League, and I don't think many people believed we could do it. But we proved them wrong, and now we are working towards becoming an established Premier League team,” he added.
