Question:

Rangetop Drip-pans?

My oven's stovetop has four burners that have drip-pans that have really seen better days. I've tried SOS pads (steel wool) and pretty much every degreaser in the market, but none work. So, Answers Community, my question is this---Can these drip-pans be removed and replaced? Thanks!

  1. Yep they can be replaced, and it's not all that expensive. Check the big box home improvement stores or your local hardware store for replacements.  Just make note of the size (diameter) and if it's an electric range, whether the pan is for hinged burners.

  2. Take one of the old ones with you when you go to the store to help choosing the correct one.

  3. Yes just unplug the heating element and lift out.Lowes and HD sell them

  4. Ours are not carried at Lowes, Home Depot, KMart, Sears, etc.  as they have a special hole pattern.  But I was able to get them at www.repairclinic.com.

  5. yep, most stores have them in there kitchen wares department, you can try Kmart, Walmart, Target - something like that.
