Greatest batsman out of Sri Lanka is Aavinda de Silva.He was just pure class,if he started his career now,he would average like a Hussey but have the audacity of a Shewag.

Then I would have to say Mahela Jayawardene takes the second spot.Sanath Jayasuriya too would have had a better average if he was coached better at the start of his career.Kumar Sangakkara the most hard working and professional of all cricketers. Arjuna Ranatunga and Marvan Attapatu takes the final spot.Two of the best young cricketers Sri Lanka produced at  school level.
