Well, Rappers Delight wasn't the first, there are lots of songs that are considered the first hip-hop songs being recorded like King Tim III by Fatback Band or We Rap More Mellow by Grandmaster Flash, and also in rock there are lots of songs, but the most important are:

I don't know what the first Rock song was, but the first Rock band was Bill Haley and the Comets.  I hope that helps clarify some things.
