Rare 1952 strapless Canadian nickel, how to recognize and value?

Is there any indentations along the neck to the shoulder and arm? Also is the far leaf variety worth more and what is the know population? Thanks.

  1. On the "no shoulder folds" so called strapless 1953 Canadian 5 cent coin there in nothing on the neck it is bare. On the one with, there are 2 lines there that look like a strap. The near maple leaf is worth more $1,100 and is considered a "Mule" that is a die was used that actually goes with another denomination or another coin. Now with strap it is the far maple leaf which is the mule and it's value around $600. Other than that the no shoulder strap sells for $3-$5 and the with $4-$5. Hope this helps.
