Rare coin collection how much is it worth??!?

ok so my uncle collects coins and he has 2 coins from the united states

there dated 1880 and there extremely big

it says that they are one dollar

the coin says this..

"e - plurieus - unum"

the front part has the lady of liberty

and the back part has an eagle

and it says "in god we trust"

is it a valuable coin?

help please?!?

Depending on the shape that the coin is in the cost will very from probably around $10 to possibly more than $100 (but that is only if the coin has never been distributed and is in PERFECT condition)...I can't really think of the coin that you're describing though because there are several variations of dollar coins with Lady Liberty on them and an eagle on the back (I think that all U.S. currency has "In God we Trust" and "e pluriebus unum" printed some place on it)

  4. It depends on the grade of the coins as well as the mint mark if any. The key one has CC as a mint mark (located on the eagle side near the bottom under the wreath) It is worth $130 to $235 in circulated grades from Very Good to extra fine and more if in mint state. The others without a mint mark, or with an O or S are worth $14.50 to $18.00 in the same grades. Values are about what a dealer would pay.
