Rasa sayang penang??

Question

i know this is a bit too specific but what's the price difference between the premier suite in the rasa wing and the terrace suite in the garden wing? whenever we ring up the girls they tell us something different!

im from australia and we usually stay in the rasa wing whenever we go to penang and this time we are considering the garden wing suites because the views appear to be better. also i would like to know if there is any real difference between the garden wing and rasa wing guest privelges, amenities etc.

im sorry but i need an answer quickly otherwise they will give away the room!! thanx:)

btw my dates are fixed during the two weeks of the chistmas season and new year.

There are many differences between the two wings..

Terrace Suite on the Garden wings (The OLD wing which is also cheaper by the way)-

Terrace Suites  offer memorable views of Batu Ferringi and the landscaped gardens from a private terrace, and is decorated in a traditional Malaysian style emphasising rich wood furnishings and colourful fabrics.

The suite has a separate dining room, parlour/sitting area, and a private balcony with sweeping garden or ocean views.

The marble bathroom has a soaking tub and a separate shower cubicle.

The suite dimensions are 100-114 sqm/1077-1228 sqft.

Deluxe Suite on the Rasa Wings

(Newly built rooms..much more luxurious than the ones in garden wings)-

Deluxe Suites offer spacious and luxurious accommodation, and face the beach and ocean, with panoramic views across the landscaped gardens and pools.

The suite has a separate parlour/sitting area, and a private balcony with sweeping garden or ocean views.

Guests enjoy exclusive Rasa Wing privileges, such as express check-in, complimentary cocktails in the Rasa Wing Lounge, a personal concierge and a 24-hour butler service.

The marble bathroom has a soaking tub and a separate shower cubicle.

The suite dimensions are 84 sqm/905 sqft.

Price & Benefit differences-

Depends on which date you are planning to stay..weekdays where there are no peak seasons, the rates will be slightly cheaper..

check with the hotel directly and make comparison on the rates given..you'll know how much the difference will be..always ask for value rate as this will get you most of their complimentaries..best rates will only gets you breakfast only.

edit-..aww..you'll be staying in the middle of Malaysia's Super Peak Seasons..the price will be super expensive.. if you really need to know the prices..call them many times..each time note down how much they are charging you per suite/night....check to see which one will be the lowest..i've done this many times whenever i stay in plush resorts..

but in your case, whenever the date of check-in will be, the garden terrace suite will be much more cheaper than the Deluxe Rasa Wings.

I would definitely splurge & check-into the rasa wings rooms or suites coz they are new, super luxurious & with added club service..you wont be getting that with the ones in garden wings!
